It is &#8220;the result not only of how few deals Ryan (or his family) chooses to accept, but also the fact that his pint-sized demographic isn&#8217;t exactly all that flush&#8221;.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"media-portrait no-caption full-width\"><span class=\"image-and-copyright-container\"><\/p>\n<p>            <\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<figure class=\"media-landscape no-caption full-width\"><span class=\"image-and-copyright-container\"><\/p>\n<p>            <\/span><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>The toys featured in one of the channel&#8217;s videos can sell out instantly.<\/p>\n<p>In August, Walmart began selling an exclusive range of toys and clothing called Ryan&#8217;s World, and a video showing Ryan and his parents searching for his own toys at a Walmart store has had 14 million views in three months.<\/p>\n<p>The revenues from the Walmart deal are set to substantially increase Ryan&#8217;s total earnings next year.<\/p>\n<p>As he is still a child, 15% of Ryan&#8217;s earnings are put into a bank account that he can only access when he becomes a legal adult. <\/p>\n<p>Ryan&#8217;s twin sisters haven&#8217;t been left out of the fun either: they feature in some videos on a related YouTube channel called Ryan&#8217;s Family Review. <\/p>\n<p>A video titled &#8220;Top 10 Science Experiments you can do at home for kids&#8221; starring the three children has had more than 26 million views:<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Middleton, the Minecraft gamer who topped the 2017 list with earnings of $16.5m, has slipped to fourth place. <\/p>\n<p>While Jake Paul moved up six places to second, his brother Logan Paul has tumbled down the Forbes rankings this year to 10th place with $14.5m &#8211; still $3m more than 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Logan Paul apologised in January after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-us-canada-42539715\" class=\"story-body__link\">showing the body of an apparent suicide victim<\/a> in Japan in one of his videos.<\/p>\n<p>Google, which owns YouTube, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-asia-42644321\" class=\"story-body__link\">removed Paul&#8217;s channels<\/a> from its Google Preferred programme, where brands sell ads on the platform&#8217;s top 5% of content creators, in the wake of the controversy.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><br \/>\n<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/business-46427910\">Source<\/a> by <a href=\"\">[author_name]<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Image copyright YouTube Image caption Ryan&#8217;s earnings have doubled since last year A seven-year-old boy who reviews toys has been revealed as YouTube&#8217;s highest-earning star, raking in $22m (\u00a317.3m).
