discrimination for not applying the same standard in occupied areas in other parts of the world.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, Airbnb said it took the move because it viewed settlements as &#8220;core&#8221; to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.<\/p>\n<p>The step was hailed by Palestinians and denounced by Israel.<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Maanit Rabinovich from the settlement of Kida, and, according to court papers, will seek compensation for other similarly affected holiday home-letters.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"story-body__unordered-list\">\n<li class=\"story-body__list-item\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/business-45083954\" class=\"story-body__link\">What Airbnb really does to a neighbourhood<\/a><\/li>\n<li class=\"story-body__list-item\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/business-44409187\" class=\"story-body__link\">Airbnb halts thousands of bookings in Japan<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It accuses Airbnb of discriminating against Israelis because it continues to list holiday homes in places considered occupied in other geopolitical hotspots, such as Tibet and Northern Cyprus.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/press.airbnb.com\/listings-in-disputed-regions\/\" class=\"story-body__link-external\">Airbnb says it is &#8220;evaluating&#8221;
