Lauren Townsend, who has worked as a waitress at a TGIs in Milton Keynes since 2010, earns \u00a37.83 an hour – which is the minimum wage for over 25s. <\/p>\n

She thinks a wage of \u00a310 an hour “would be enough for everybody to support themselves”.<\/p>\n

“I don’t think it’s too much to ask in a multimillion-pound company,” the 27-year-old said.<\/p>\n

“The way I see it, if they could legally pay us less they would.”<\/p>\n
